QUT Guild

Mid-Senior Designer

Here are some key projects I’ve lead as Mid-Senior Designer at QUT Guild:

  1. Evaluating brand guidelines and strategy to realign with business goals and strengthen brand visibility and identity.
  2. Introduced Canva into the team’s workflow to allow for greater collaboration and delegation of content design tasks to juniors and interns.
  3. Produced high quality, on-brand designs for events, services and digital content.
  4. In progress: Leading a WordPress website re-development and CRM integration project with QPay to improve usability and admin workflow.

Graphic Design

As Senior Designer at QUT Guild, I oversaw the branding and design of all marketing collateral, signage, uniforms and merchandise.

Branding and Style Guide

After COVID, the organisation’s activities and student demand for our services were growing due to more students returning to campus. My workload and responsibilities as Graphic Designer had increased. The Marketing team went through a re-structure, merging with the Engagement team, along with some new junior hires and a new internship program.

I decided to incorporate the use of Canva and templates into the team’s workflow which made it a lot quicker to work with interns to produce a high volume of graphics for daily online content. Canva was more accessible for new juniors in the team and they could assist in creating online content, giving me more capacity to continue contributing to more senior design tasks.

Below is a design guide I created for junior designers working in Canva:
